Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Outpatient Imaging Center
Location: Fairbanks, AK
Schedule: Full-time - Imaging Center: 4 10-hour day shifts, no on-call or holidays OR Hospital: 12-hr varied shift, holiday/on-call as needed.
Pay: $40.08-$64.13/hr BOE plus relocation assistance, 90 days of temporary housing assistance, and up to $20,000 retention bonus offered!

The Ultrasound Technologist duties to include but not limited to:

- Performs procedures by following and verifying referring providers' orders. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures
- Educates patients/families regarding procedure and/or treatment to be performed. Demonstrates professional behavior/conduct in all interactions; fosters teamwork, efficient use of resources and quality patient outcomes
- Produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation
- Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures if applicable in accordance with established policies if applicable
- Assures the efficient operation of workflow of the department


REQUIREMENTS:
- ARDMS certification required
- 1-2 years’ experience preferred
- AK license required prior to start date
- BLS certification required
