A hospital group in Kansas City KS is currently seeking an experienced CDI Lead to join their full-time staff team! Check out the details below:

Title: Clinical Documentation Integrity Lead - Registered Nurse RN
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Hospital - Administrative
Location: Remote
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Pay: Full-time exempt pay based on experience, plus a full benefits package.

The CDI Lead duties to include but not limited to:
- Audit the CDI Specialists reviews of inpatient medical records for completeness, accuracy, and query compliance
- Gather and analyze data from various sources to share and strategize improvement with the manager
- Use data to evaluate and educate CDSs, coders, attending physicians, residents, fellows, and Advanced Practice Providers (APP) to suggest additional and/or more specific documentation in support of the CDI program
- Work closely with the manager and Coding Supervisor to assure documentation of discharge diagnosis(es) and any co-existing co-morbidities are a complete reflection of the patient’s clinical status and care

REQUIREMENTS:
- BSN and active RN license to practice is KS (or multistate/compact license)
- Minimum 3 years of specifically CDI and ICD-10 coding experience - required
- Previous experience in a supervisor role highly preferred
- Experience with Epic, Solventum (3M), Iodine desired; CCDS or CDIP a plus!
