Nurse Practitioner

Job description:

Sumo Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Neurosurgery NP/PAs to work locum shifts with a high-volume neurosurgery practice. Immediate openings are available with ongoing work and competitive market rates.

Position Details:
 • Contract Length: Ongoing assignment
 • Start Date: Immediate need
 • Location: Tampa, FL
 • Pay Rate: starting at $120/hr
 • Schedule: 1 full-time provider (40 hours/week) + 1 part-time provider (minimum two weeks/month)
 • Responsibilities include: Inpatient rounding and first assist in the OR for both adult and pediatric neurosurgery patients. No outpatient responsibilities. Call is shared among the PA/NP team with a 1:4/5 weekend call rotation and a 1:4/5 night call rotation. Level II Adult Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.

Provider Requirements:
 • Active Florida license
 • Current board certification
 • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an advanced practice provider in Neurosurgery OR
 • Must be available to work at least two weeks per month
