A large hospital located in Gulfport, MS is currently seeking an experience Nuclear Medicine Supervisor to join their team, full-time!

Location: Gulfport, MS
Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm, no on-call

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This Nuclear Medicine Coordinator supervises and performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and therapeutic procedures, Under the clinical direction of a Radiologist and the Director of Radiology. Responsible for:
• Operating Nuclear Medicine equipment to make images of designated portions of the body
• Coordinating the flow of the nuclear medicine department by working closely with the radiology department staff, physicians, patients and nursing personnel
• Assigns, directs and coordinates the activities of employees; schedules, orients and trains new employees; assures observance of policies, procedures and work standards; checks work for proper completion; takes corrective action as needed
• Assists with interviews of applicants for staff positions to ensure applicant meets criteria for position
• Provides input to the Radiology Director regarding employee job performance, morale, staffing, work standards, personnel matters and equipment performance
• Evaluates performance of personnel
• Writes competencies for the departments

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mississippi Rad Tech licensure
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist in Nuclear Medicine (NM) or certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- At least 1 year of radiology supervisor / coordinator experience leading a team
- Must have working experience in Nuclear Medicine
