A growing cardiologist physicians’ group in Tampa, FL is currently seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join their team full-time at their Surgery Center office! Check out the details below:

Title: Medical Assistant - MA
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Outpatient - Cardiovascular
Location: Tampa, FL
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, between 8AM-5PM (exact start time depends on patient schedule)
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for direct patient care. Duties to include but not limited to:

- Rooming patients
- Obtaining vitals and medical histories
- Assisting physician during exams
- Lab work and blood draws
- Patient education
- Maintain exam rooms and instrument sterilization
- Returning patient calls on behalf of the physicians
- Assist the admin staff as needed such as: scheduling, performing prior authorizations, etc.
- Clinical documentation into electronic medical record systems


REQUIREMENTS:
- At least Two years of recent MA experience
- National MA certification or ability to obtain
- Stable work history / tenure
- Seeking a highly professional, personable, and reliable individual
