A growing specialty physicians’ group with multiple offices located in Overland Park, KS is currently seeking an experienced Float Medical Assistant to join their team full-time! Check out the details below:

Title: Medical Assistant - MA
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Outpatient - Urology
Location: Overland Park, KS
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, between 7:30AM-5PM (exact start time depends on patient schedule)
Pay: up to $21/hr based on experience plus full benefits!

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for direct patient care. Duties to include but not limited to:

- Rooming patients
- Obtaining vitals and medical histories
- Assisting physician during exams
- Lab work and blood draws
- Patient education
- Maintain exam rooms and instrument sterilization
- Returning patient calls on behalf of the physicians
- Assist the admin staff as needed such as: scheduling, performing prior authorizations, etc.
- Clinical documentation into electronic medical record systems


REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program. National Certification highly desired
- Must be willing to perform blood draws / phlebotomy
- Stable work history / tenure
- Seeking a highly professional, personable, and reliable individual
