Title: Security Officer
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Hospital
Location: Kansas City, MO
Schedule: Full Time, 40hrs/wk, 6:00a-6:30p or 6:30p-6:00a
Pay: $23.57-29.46/hr based on experience, plus full benefits package!

The Security Officer duties to include but not limited to:

Provide a secure and safe environment that allows everyone using the healthcare faculties offered by the organization to deliver or receive quality services with minimal threats against their personal well-being or their property. Public Safety/Security Leadership reserves the right to rotate or reassign staff as needed to improve operational efficiencies.

REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma and/or GED preferred
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to speak and read the English language
- Physically ready to walk, run, lift (up to 75 lbs), crawl, or jump into action if needed
- Applicant must meet the requirements specified in the Fleet Driving Safety and Compliance Policy and must continue to meet these requirements as a condition of employment
- Possess own weapon (9 caliber Glock) or lease monthly from Public Safety for a period of one year. At which time applicant would be required to purchase and own his/her authorized firearm
- Previous experience preferred
