How do you become a physical therapist?

If you’re interested in becoming a physical therapist, you’ll first need a bachelor’s degree. After you have this, you need to complete a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program then you need to pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) to get a license to practice. You might also consider gaining more hands-on experience or applying for internships to increase your chances of being hired at your preferred facility.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of a physical therapist?

The day-to-day responsibilities of a physical therapist typically include:

How will I get paid with Favorite?

Favorite pays employees on a weekly cadence either through direct deposits or paper checks. This is the case for physical therapists unless the facility you work at chooses to pay in bi-weekly occurrences.

How long does the hiring process take?

Although it varies based on specific situations, the time from submitting your application to receiving a physical therapist job offer can be as short as 24 to 48 hours. However, the credentialing process may require up to two weeks.
