An outpatient dermatology surgery center located in Independence, MO is currently seeking a permanent hire (staff) Procedural Nurse RN to join their growing team! Check out the details below:

Title: Procedural Nurse RN
Pay: $35–$50 per hour, based on experience, plus a full benefits package
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Location: Independence, MO
Setting: Outpatient – Surgery – Dermatology
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:45am–4:15pm

The Procedural Nurse RN responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
-- Provide specialized nursing support for the MOHS surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care
-- Prepare patients for dermatologic surgical procedures and assist during MOHS surgery
-- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
-- Coordinate and manage pathology specimen handling
-- Maintain a sterile, organized, and efficient surgical environment
-- Collaborate closely with the surgeon, medical assistants, and clinical staff to support optimal patient outcomes and an excellent patient experience

Requirements:
-- Active Missouri or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
-- At least 1 year of related experience in Operating Room (pre-op, post-op, procedures, endoscopy), acute care, or emergency room; dermatology or MOHS experience is a plus
-- Current BLS Certification
-- Up to date on immunizations, including COVID and Flu
-- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
