An outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center located in Houston, TX (The Heights area) is currently seeking a permanent hire (staff) Charge Registered Nurse to join their leadership team! Check out the details below:

Setting: Outpatient – Surgery Center
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

The Surgery Nurse / Charge Nurse RN is a key clinical leader responsible for coordinating daily nursing operations within the Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role ensures safe, efficient patient care, oversees workflow across Pre-Op, PACU, and Operating Room areas, and promotes a culture of clinical excellence, compliance, and positive patient experience. Provides direct patient care in preop, post op and circulating in the operating room. The Nurse / Charge Nurse works collaboratively with the Medical Director, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to maintain high-quality standards.

Qualifications:
-- At least 2 years of perioperative operating room and/or ASC nursing experience – proficient in circulating required
-- Charge nurse, supervisory, or clinical leadership experience
--Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Texas or compact
-- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
-- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required
-- Moderate/Procedural Sedation Certification (AORN) strongly recommended, CNOR preferred
