Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Operating Room
Location: Kansas City, MO
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 2:15pm – 10:45pm, on call required
Pay: Pay $26/hr-$40/hr based on relevant work experience, plus full benefits

The Lead Sterile Processing Technician responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
-- Performs decontamination, processing and sterilization of instrumentation. Anticipate, identify and effectively respond to the needs of surgery, with respect to the needed sterile equipment/supplies.
-- Act as a charge person on alternating weekends to assure proper work flow. Will alternate call with the other Team Leaders to assure coverage of the department as well as acting as a resource for questions.
-- Trains and maintains documentation of training for Central Service staff under the guidance of the supervisors. Ensures that direct reports complete all mandatory in services and training provided by the organization.

Requirements:
-- Certified Central Service Technician, completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program, or 5 years experience as an instrument technician in an operating room setting
-- Supervisory experience
-- 1 year experience as scrub tech
