A leading hospital in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician Team Lead to join their team on a full-time basis!

Title: Sterile Processing Technician Team Lead
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Inpatient - Sterile Processing / Central Service
Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/wk, Evenings: 3:00pm-11:30pm; rotating weekends and holidays required
Pay: $21.08 - $31.62/hr based on experience, plus full benefits (medical, dental, vision options, tuition reimbursement, paid parking, HSA, retirement options plus PTO and holiday pay)

Job Description:
• Provide the hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment
• Perform and oversee established procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and surgical case cart setup
• Serve as a resource and provide day-to-day guidance and support to Sterile Processing staff
• Help coordinate workflow and ensure appropriate staffing and coverage to support department operations
• Ensure quality sterile products are available to support patient care
• Follow established procedures and quality standards to ensure completion of the decontamination and sterilization processes
• Monitor sterile processing activities to ensure compliance with departmental policies and standards
• Place sterile items in appropriate areas for distribution and ensure items are accurately labeled by department
• Assist with training, mentoring, and onboarding of Sterile Processing staff as needed

Requirements:
• Must have at least 2 years of related Sterile Processing experience
• Previous leadership, lead, supervisory, or team coordination experience required; any amount of leadership experience will be considered
