A Home Health company located in Niagara Falls, NY is currently seeking a Registered Nurse Educator to join their team full-time! Check out the details below:

Title: Registered Nurse Educator
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Home Health - no travel required
Location: Niagara Falls, NY
Schedule: Full-time, M-F 8 hour shifts, 8am-4pm
Pay: $72,800 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Registered Nurse Educator will be responsible for but may not be limited to:
• Assumes responsibility for staff orientation, competency assessment, and professional development of the organization’s staff.
• Provides efficient and effective educational services and resources which enable staff to meet patients’ and customers’ needs of service excellence and evidence-based practices.
• Plans, develops, and facilitates opportunities for staff to continuously refine and advance their competencies in patient care, teaching, critical thinking, and judgment
• Instructs the Personal Care Aide Training program according to the NYSDOH rules and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• At least 2 years of recent professional RN experience with at least 1 year home care experience.
• Current Healthcare BLS Provider certification by the date of hire.
• Ability to assess, plan, Implement, and evaluate education programs
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge/skills in needs assessment, curriculum and materials.
