Title: Charge Registered Nurse RN – OR RN
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Operating Room
Location: Naperville, IL
Schedule: Full-time, evenings, 3pm-11:30am, no on-call except rotating holidats
Pay: $37.25-57.74/hr base plus charge and shift differential and full benefits (medical, dental, vision options, tuition reimbursement, paid parking, HSA, retirement options plus PTO and holiday pay)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Charge Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
· Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patients and families
· Coordinate daily OR activities, including staff assignments, case flow, room readiness, and patient care priorities
· Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
· Serve as a clinical resource and provide guidance to OR nursing and support staff
· Monitor patient safety, quality of care, and compliance with regulatory standards
· Communicate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members to facilitate efficient patient care
· Assume responsibility and accountability for nursing care and coordination of assigned OR activities
· Assist with staffing, scheduling, patient flow, and operational concerns as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus
- Current (or ability to obtain) state of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Recent charge nurse experience required
- At least one year of recent OR / Circulator nursing experience
