An occupational health company located in Lima, OH is currently seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse to join their team full-time! Check out the details below:

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Occupational Health - Construction
Location: Lima, OH
Schedules Available: Full-time (36 hrs/wk) or Part-time (24 hrs/wk), 12-hour shifts. Openings available on 1st or 2nd shift. All schedules require some Saturdays.
Pay: competitive hourly pay plus full benefits (if working over at least 30 hrs a week)


JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Occupational Health NP/Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing employees in a workers comp capacity. Duties to include:
• Provide first aid, assess workplace injuries, and coordinate care with healthcare providers. Recommend workplace modifications to prevent injurie.
• Conduct pre-employment screenings, routine health exams, and drug testing.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA, ADA, FMLA, and other workplace health regulations.
• Case Management: Support employees with return-to-work programs, workers' compensation claims, and accommodations.
• Develop wellness programs, including stress management, nutrition, and preventive care initiatives.
• Train employees in CPR/First Aid and respond to medical emergencies.
• Provide health-related training sessions to employees on topics like workplace hazards and disease prevention.
• Work with HR, safety teams, and management to maintain a healthy work environment.


REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate from an accredited RN or NP nursing program
- Compact or Ohio Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner license
- Nursing experience in occupational health is a plus
