Title: Registered Nurse RN – GI/Endoscopy
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: GI/Endoscopy
Location: Highland Park, IL
Schedule: Full-time, Days, 7am-4pm, occasional Saturdays
Pay: $36-$55.80/hr base and full benefits (medical, dental, vision options, tuition reimbursement, paid parking, HSA, retirement options plus PTO and holiday pay)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The GI/Endoscopy Registered Nurse provides holistic care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures (like colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs), involving patient assessment, administering sedation and meds, monitoring vitals, assisting physicians, educating patients and families on procedures and diet, and managing post-procedure recovery to ensure stability and safety. They act as patient advocates, manage the procedure environment, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus
- Current (or ability to obtain) state of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Experience in GI or Endoscopy preferred or experience in a related area: Conscious sedation, critical care, ER, med/surg or tele experience
