Title: Registered Nurse RN – CVOR RN
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Location: Glenview, IL
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm, rotating on-call, weekend and holiday schedule
Pay: $36-$55.80/hr base and full benefits (medical, dental, vision options, tuition reimbursement, paid parking, HSA, retirement options plus PTO and holiday pay)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The CVOR Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
· Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patient populations and families
· Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care
· Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice
· Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care
· Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care
· Collaborate with the multidisciplinary surgical team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care during cardiovascular procedures

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree is a plus
Current (or ability to obtain) State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification required
At least one year of Operating Room / Circulator nursing experience required
Previous cardiac or CVOR experience is not required
