Title: PA – Physician Assistant
Pay: $125k-150k base salary, goes up based on experience plus full benefits package

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Clinic / Surgery – Neuro & Spine
Location: San Antonio, TX
Schedule:Full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, On-call within department

The PA – Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing care in a clinic and hospital setting to neurology and spine patients. Duties to include but may not be limited to:
- Develop treatment plan for neurosurgical conditions within the scope of the practice and in conjunction with neurosurgeon
- Exercise judgement on conditions requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation by the supervising neurosurgeon
- First assist in surgery, closure of deep and superficial wounds
- Assist with all neurosurgical procedures to include cranial and spinal procedures, including instrumentation and microscopic procedures
- Conduct hospital rounds daily of all patients including intensive care unit
- Review X-rays, MRI, CT, miscellaneous images and labs of inpatient and office patients with the attending neurosurgeon

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in the State of Texas
- At least 1 to 2 years experience as a PA in a surgical and office environment required
