A large and growing hospital in Fairbanks, AK is currently seeking multiple permanent hire (staff) Staff Pharmacists to join their team full-time! Check out the details below:
Title: Staff Pharmacist
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Location: Fairbanks, AK
Pay:> $58.30 to $93.29 hourly wage based on experience and education
Retention Bonus:> $40,000 Retention Bonus for eligible new hires
Relocation Assistance:> up to $7,500
Additional Pay:> Shift Differential, Annual Increases, PTO
Schedule: Full Time, 40 Hours (4 x 10)

The Pharmacist/b> responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
- Reviews medication orders and evaluates their appropriateness and completeness with respect to patient data including age, height, weight, diagnosis, laboratory values and other pertinent patient information. - Contacts the prescriber with suggestions for improvement and resolves problems with the medication orders as needed. - Accurately and completely documents patient assessment data and clinical interventions.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in acute care setting and Pharmacy licensure Qualifications:
- Requires (or eligible for) pharmacy licensure in the state of practice and a degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy. Pharmacy licensure. - May be required to posses a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the company’s auto insurance policy. Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Pharmacist in the specialty area.
