Job description:

Sumo Medical Staffing is seeking a primary care NP to provide urgent care locum tenens coverage in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Starting March 2026, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate.

 • Contract Length: 13 weeks with the option to extend
 •Start 03/09/2026 – Ongoing
 • Rate:$100/hr - Mileage is covered
 • Location: Goldsboro, North Carolina
 • Schedule:br>   • TBD: Discussed in Interview: No call, or hours outside the scheduled hours of the clinic
  Must treat adults + pediatrics starting at 6 months old.
  Must handle high volume urgent care (up to ~40 patients/day).
  Scope of Services:
  • Must independently perform urgent care procedures:
  • Incision & drainage, Laceration repair, Ear irrigation, Minor wound care and other small procedures
  • Multiple sites within 60-mile radius must be open to floating if needed.
  • EMR: EPIC

Requirements:
 • Must have NC license active and unrestricted  • BLS, DEA
 • Must have at least 1 year experience---urgent care experience preferred
