JOB TYPE: Permanent / Direct Hire
SETTING: Occupational Health
LOCATION: New Florence, MO
SCHEDULE AVAILABLE: Full-time, First Shift: 6am–2pm or 7am–3pm
PAY: Competitive hourly pay plus full benefits based on experience

The Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant will be responsible for assessing and managing employees in a workers’ compensation capacity. Duties include:
• Provide first aid, evaluate workplace injuries, and diagnose/treat within scope of practice
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers as needed
• Recommend workplace modifications to prevent injuries and improve safety
• Conduct pre-employment physicals, routine health exams, and drug testing
• Ensure adherence to OSHA, ADA, FMLA, and other workplace health regulations
• Support employees with return-to-work programs, workers’ compensation claims, and accommodations
• Develop and implement wellness programs, including stress management, nutrition, and preventive care initiatives
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide advanced clinical care when needed
• Provide health-related training sessions on workplace hazards, injury prevention, and disease management
• Collaborate with HR, safety teams, and management to maintain a safe and healthy work environment

Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Active Missouri NP or PA license (or ability to obtain)
• National certification required (e.g., AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with ability to work independently
• Occupational health, urgent care, or emergency medicine experience strongly preferred
