Setting: Hospital – Inpatient - Generalist
Location: Hillsboro, IL
Openings: 2
Schedules Available:
-- Full-time, Sun-Wed, Nights: varying 8hr and 12hr shifts (9:45pm-5:45am or 5:45pm-5:45am) – No on-call! -- Full-time, Mon-Fri, Evenings: 2pm-10:30pm - No on-call! Pay: $29-44/hr base pay plus applicable shift differentials, plus an excellent benefits package ((PTO, Free health insurance, 401k with 150% match, fitness membership, STD, LTD, tuition reimbursement, FSA, life insurance)

The MLT / Medical Scientist / Medical Technologist responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
- Provide comprehensive laboratory testing for patients, ensuring patients’ laboratory results are accurate, timely and with quality
- Analyze patient, control and proficiency testing specimens and record results in a timely manner
- Calibrate, maintain, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation issues and complete appropriate documentation

REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates / Bachelor Degree from qualifying programs for the ASCP MLS certification eligibility
- MLT, MLS or Medical Technologist certification with the ASCP, or equivalent (NCA, AMT)
- Minimum 1 year of Generalist / Inpatient Medical Laboratory experience strongly preferred
