A growing specialty physicians’ group with multiple offices located in Shawnee, KS is currently seeking an experienced LPN or Medical Assistant to join their team full-time! Check out the details below:

Title: Clinic LPN or Certified Medical Assistant - MA
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Outpatient - Urology
Location: Shawnee, KS
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, between 7:30AM-5PM (exact start time depends on patient schedule)
Pay: Based on experience plus full benefits!

The LPN / Medical Assistant will be responsible for direct patient care. Duties to include but not limited to:

- Rooming patients
- Obtaining vitals and medical histories
- Assisting physician during exams
- Lab work and blood draws
- Patient education
- Maintain exam rooms and instrument sterilization
- Returning patient calls on behalf of the physicians
- Assist the admin staff as needed such as: scheduling, performing prior authorizations, etc.
- Clinical documentation into electronic medical record systems


REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST hold a national certification / registered Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (Compact or Kansas)
- At least two years of recent LPN / MA experience, highly preferred in an outpatient office setting
- Must be willing to perform blood draws / phlebotomy
- Stable work history / tenure
- Seeking a highly professional, personable, and reliable individual
