A small primary care doctors office located in Houston, TX (Southwest) is currently seeking a part-time, experienced Bilingual Medical Assistant to join their team! Check out the details below:

Title: Bilingual Medical Assistant MA
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Medical Office/Clinic – Primary Care / Family Medicine
Location: Houston, TX (Southwest area, near Beltway 8)
Schedule: Part Time, Mon-Thurs, 9A-5P
Pay: $18-$20/hour

The Medical Assistant - MA duties to include but not limited to:
- Reviews and reports lab results to physician for guidance
- Prepares patients for examination and treatment by escorting them from the waiting area to the exam room and obtaining urinalysis and vital signs. Documents all information into paper chart
- Performs phlebotomy and administers injections; processes and prepares labs for pickup; assists with EKG’s, office procedures as needed; and provides other patient care services as directed by the physicians and practice protocols
- Triage calls from patients
- Perform PA's; lab orders, prescriptions, etc.
- Manual BP checks

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required
- At least (1) year of recent Medical Assistant in a medical office setting; paper chart experience is a plus
- Must have phlebotomy skills
