A nursing home in Hawthorne, NY is currently seeking to add a Housekeeper to join their team! Check out the details below:

Title: Housekeeper
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Assisted Living / Skilled Nursing Facility
Location: Hawthorne, NY
Schedule: Full-time, 40hrs/wk, 8am-4pm, rotating weekends
Pay: $17-25/hr depending on experience

The Housekeeper's duties to include but not be limited to:

-Keeping floors clean: Mopping, sweeping, waxing, buffing
-Collecting and disposing of garbage
-Keeping areas clean: dusting and cleaning surfaces
-Cleaning of equipment, windows, etc.
-Cleaning of bathrooms, rooms and equipment, and other related jobs as assigned


REQUIREMENTS:
- Has at least a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Some experience in housekeeping in a health care facility is preferred
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must provide evidence of immunity to Rubella and Measles, and a negative Tuberculosis (TB) test. The influenza and COVID vaccines are recommended
- New York State requires personnel employed by a Skill Nursing Facility to be fingerprinted to determine eligibility for employment
