A rehabilitation center in Petersburg, WV is currently seeking to add a full-time Cook to join their team! Check out the details below:

Title: Cook
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Rehabilitation Center
Location: Petersburg, WV
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hrs/wk, evening shift, 11:30am-7:30pm
Pay: $13.88/hr, goes up with experience

The Cook's duties to include but not be limited to:

- Inspect special diet trays to assure that the correct diet is served to the resident
- Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submit to the Director of Food and Nutrition Services
- Ensure that all food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies
- Process diet changes and new diets as received from Nursing Services
- Prepare food in accordance with standardized recipes, therapeutic diets, and special diet orders
- Assist/direct daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by your supervisor, and/or administrator


REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- Must obtain/maintain a CPR certification
- One-year food experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred (but not necessary)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
