A nursing home in Hawthorne, NY is currently seeking to add a Prep Cook to join their team! Check out the details below:

Title: Prep Cook
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Assisted Living / Skilled Nursing Facility
Location: Hawthorne, NY
Schedule: 40hrs/wk, Friday-Tuesday 8a-4p or 9a-5p
Pay: $17-25.50/hr

The Prep Cook’s duties to include but not be limited to:

- Prepare meal ingredients, simple dishes, condiments, and other items as directed by senior dietary staff
- Perform duties involving food preparation, cooking, and storage. Receive and check deliveries of food supplies and they perform other duties as assigned.
- Wash all wares, including pots, pans, flatware, cups, glasses, and other cooking equipment as needed.


REQUIREMENTS:
- Has at least a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Dietary experience preferred.
- Food Handler Certificate preferred
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 and have a negative Tuberculosis (TB) test
