When the pandemic struck, the pharmaceutical company needed to quickly establish a testing hub to support frontline workers and the public, with limited in-house resources. The pharmaceutical leader required skilled healthcare professionals to conduct clinical trials for a monoclonal antibody drug for COVID-19. To address the immediate need for COVID-19 testing, Favorite deployed an average of eight healthcare professionals daily for over 10 months to the company’s drive-through testing site. These professionals conducted over 30,000 tests for healthcare workers, first responders, and the general public, relieving pressure on local healthcare systems and helping control the spread of the virus.

When clinical trials for a COVID-19 monoclonal antibody treatment began, Favorite also provided 28 infusion nurses to administer the treatment at three sites across the region. These nurses were instrumental in treating high-risk patients, preventing severe progression of COVID-19 in participants. This partnership alleviated strain on hospitals and supported groundbreaking research efforts.

In addition to COVID-19 response efforts, Favorite staffed the company's employee health services, ensuring ongoing health assessments, COVID-19 testing, and immunization programs for over 10,000 employees at its Indianapolis headquarters.
