How do you become a CNA?

To become a CNA, you first need to complete a training program where you’ll learn both technical skills and gain hands on experience during clinicals. Once you’ve completed the program. You then need to pass an exam to get certified. It’s also important to know that depending on the state you work in, you may be required to pass a background check and health screening. After completing all of these steps, you’ll be ready to start applying for CNA positions at healthcare facilities.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of a CNA?

CNAs complete a variety of day-to-day duties, including: 

  • Assisting patients with daily activities like bathing, dressing and eating.  
  • Monitoring vital signs 
  • Helping with mobility
