Contract
CNAs who work contract jobs through a staffing agency are hired for a set amount of time, usually ranging from several weeks to several months. These roles often allow you to gain more experience within different healthcare facilities.

Direct hire
Also referred to as permanent placement jobs, direct hire roles allow healthcare facilities to hire CNAs through a staffing agency rather than having to recruit candidates on their own. For you, this process often leads to better job matches and a smoother transition into the workplace.

Per diem
If you’re a CNA looking for more flexibility with your schedule, then per diem jobs are perfect for you. These roles become available when healthcare facilities are short staffed and need a CNA to fill an open shift on an as-needed basis.

Travel
Travel positions require CNAs to work on assignments for an extended period of time, usually lasting several weeks to several months. These positions are especially great for CNAs who want to travel across the country and gain valuable experience in different healthcare facilities.
