What is the difference between a radiologic tech and an X-ray tech?

Even though these two specialisms share some core responsibilities, they are essentially different. A radiologic technologist is a medical specialist who takes images of the human body, including bones, tissue, and organs through utilizing various types of imaging technology. In contrast, an X-ray tech is a trained medical specialist who takes radiographic images of the inside of the body (including bones and organs) with an X-ray machine.
