Setting: Surgery Center
Location: Lafayette, IN
Schedule: Full- time, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
Pay: $18.50-23/hr based on experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Insurance Collector is responsible for managing and following up on outstanding insurance claims to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement. This position plays a critical role in the revenue cycle by identifying, analyzing, and resolving insurance claim issues, denials, and payment discrepancies.


REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma required, associate's degree or billing certification preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in medical billing, insurance follow-up, or collections
- Strong understanding of healthcare insurance (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Comp, etc.)
- Experience with practice management software (AdvancedMD, Epic, etc.) preferred
