Continuing Your Education

Favorite can help with the cost of continuing your education, whether in a classroom or conference setting or online!

The healthcare industry is constantly advancing and so must you. Ultimately, your value as a healthcare professional is determined by your commitment to lifelong learning. Many state boards of nursing require CEUs to renew licensure as well. Favorite Healthcare Staffing’s goal is to support the obligation you have to yourself and your profession. Favorite will reimburse our staff up to $100 a year for CEUs. See the "benefits" area of our website for details. While there, you will also find a listing of CEU requirements and levels of home study permitted by state. Continuing participation in industry education and training not only expands your clinical skills but also your career opportunities. Stay current and let Favorite help.

Johnson & Johnson Receives Presidential Award

Follow their lead by becoming an advocate for nursing.

In a ceremony at the White House, Johnson & Johnson received the Ron Brown Award for Corporate Leadership honoring its Campaign for Nursing's Future. The campaign was developed to help alleviate the nursing shortage by increasing awareness of the nursing profession and providing access to nursing programs.

Launched in 2002, the Campaign for Nursings’ Future works with nursing organizations, schools, hospitals, and other health care groups to promote opportunities in nursing and increase awareness of the value of the nursing profession. Through one of its flagship programs - The Promise of Nursing - regional galas held throughout the country have raised more than $8 million to date for student scholarships, nurse educator fellowships, and nursing school grants in cities and regions where the nursing shortage is most acute.

As members of this profession, we should be an advocate for nursing! Spread the word about this great profession - to students, patients, waiters - whoever will listen!
