Hello, Favorite Employee!

March 21, 2006

Favorite Matches a Portion of 401(k) Contributions

We've added a little extra to your retirement account!

We are pleased to announce that the company has again matched a portion of its field employees’ 401(k) retirement plan contributions for 2005. If you elected to defer part of your pay to the Favorite Healthcare Staffing 401(k) plan, you may receive a little "cushion" in your account. The company’s matching percentage for 2005 was 10%, but that's not all!

In addition to the employer match, forfeitures (unvested matching contributions of former employees of the company) were allocated, resulting in an additional 9.3% discretionary match. For example, if an employee worked 1,200 hours for Favorite Healthcare Staffing in 2005, and contributed $10,000 of their annual gross compensation, they would receive approximately $1,930 in additional matching contributions.

Eligible plan participants (employees who completed 1,000 or more hours of service in 2005) will see this deposit on their next statement from CPI (third party plan administrator), due out in mid April 2006. Participants may view statements online at www.myretirementfuture.com by logging in with their social security number and PIN - the last four digits of the social security number unless previously changed. Participants may also access their account information by phone at 800-291-1585. CPI's customer service center is available at 800-279-4015.

On CPI's website, participants can change investment elections, view personal account information, review statements, and more. Participants can also change their contribution percentage on this site. The change to contribution percentage will take effect at the next open enrollment date.

Matching contributions become available to provide benefits to plan participants based on the employees' years of service under the plan's vesting schedule. Matching contributions are made strictly at the discretion of the company and are not guaranteed; nevertheless, Favorite Healthcare Staffing has matched qualifying employee contributions every year since 1991.

If you are not taking advantage of this benefit, check with your branch for open enrollment information. You may also read more about the plan and download forms from our website.

If you are already enrolled, you may make changes to your existing plan during the open period. New enrollments and changes received by March 31, 2006 will become effective on the first pay period in April 2006.

Travel to Alaska!

Don't just take an assignment, take an adventure!

Favorite Healthcare Staffing is currently offering contracts in two very diverse Alaskan locations: Ketchikan and Barrow.

Self-proclaimed the Salmon Capitol of the World, Ketchikan is the southernmost port on the Inside Passage. Located in the heart of the Tongass National Forest, the small town of 14,000 is best known for its salmon, its totem poles, and the excessive amount of rainfall it receives each year. Ketchikan is literally a “port” town, with half of the city built into a mountainside thick with spruce and the other half built on stilts over the water. Primarily a logging and fishing community, timber, salmon and halibut keep the economy strong, while annual events such as the Blueberry Festival and the Sportfishing Championship give the town unique character.

Walking tours are one of the most popular ways to explore the town. Totem Bight State Historical Park eight miles out of town features a ceremonial Tlingit lodge, while the Ward Lake Recreation Area is a great spot for picnicking. The Tongass Historical Museum highlights the history of Ketchikan and surrounding terrain, while the Totem Heritage Center will show you all you want to know about the craft of totem carving. The gift shops of Ketchikan are prized for their native crafts, basketry and jewelry. Indian-style canoe trips and flightseeing tours are offered through local operators.

Separated from the mainland by the 150-mile Behm Canal, Ketchikan is accessible only by boat. Even the airport is located on a nearby island, and passengers must land and then ferry across the sound to the town itself. Within Ketchikan itself, a mere 20 miles of roads allow access to nearby parks and recreation areas.

Ever wanted to “get away from it all?” An assignment in Barrow, Alaska may be just for you! The northernmost city in Alaska, Barrow is 340 miles north of the Arctic Circle, the largest municipal government in the world, and the nation's farthest northern community.

North Slope Borough wildlife includes polar bears, grizzly bears, arctic foxes, red foxes, caribou, moose, snowy owls, wolves, whales, beaver, Dall sheep, bowhead whales, bearded seals, ringed seals, and spotted seals.

This small community is much like other locations within Alaska with no roads connecting it to other communities. Airlines provide the main mode of transportation to Barrow with flights from Anchorage and Fairbanks.

Barrow is one of the world's largest Eskimo settlements where traditional culture and modern life are blended. North Slope oil discovery has brought wealth to the area, including modern influences such as snowmobiles. Most homes are heated by natural gas from nearby gas fields. There are community electric, water and sewer systems, a public radio station and cable TV facilities.

Barrow is one of the top five bird watching spots in Alaska and the annual visitors to Barrow are spectacular. All four species of Eider ducks migrate along the coast and nest in the tundra around Barrow. Numerous other ducks and waterfowl also nest in the millions of small puddles and lakes across the tundra. Barrow is the prime habitat for many shorebirds. Perhaps the most spectacular summer visitor and breeder is the snowy owl, from which comes the Inupiat name for Barrow - Ukpeagvik - which translates to "place to hunt snowy owls".

No matter which part of Alaska you choose, it's certain to be a memorable trip. The Travel Team at Favorite Healthcare Staffing is ready to arrange an adventure for you, complete with housing and the great pay you're accustomed to. Call us at 1-800-755-1411 or email gotravel@favoritestaffing.com for details on assignments in Alaska - or wherever your heart desires!
