Personnel Spotlight: Mohamadu Cole, CNA

We take a closer look at Favorite CNA Mohamadu Cole, a native of West Africa.

Mohamadu Cole is originally from Sierra Leone in West Africa. He says he came to the US for improvement of life and education. He attended the Ashworth College of Distance Learning and Hannah Harrison School of Nursing (LPN and CMA program) in DC and began working as a Marketing Director and Health Care coordinator for a local nursing agency. He has also worked as a house manager for a group home and as a Certified Medical Assistant at a doctor's office in DC.

Mohamadu Cole, CNAMohamadu has worked for Favorite Staffing since 2002. When asked about his favorite part of working for us, Mahomadu says, "I like working for Favorite Staffing because the staff in Maryland is very professional and respectful. I mostly enjoy working in medical seminars, fairs and offices. One of them is the screening of construction workers that we did for onsite for a whole week and the A.B.C. medical fair at the convention center in DC."

When not on assignment, Mohamadu volunteers as an instructor for First Aid, CPR, and AED for the Red Cross. He is the team manager for a Sierra Leone soccer team called Sierra Stars Veterans Football Club and he teaches children to read and write Arabic on Sundays.

When asked if he had anything to share with fellow Favorite Staffing, Mohamadu said, "Keep up the good work and let's do the job because of the satisfaction of our clients and not solely for the money."

Favorite Flicks

The StethoSCOOP Newsletter staff reviews some the summer's hottest movies.

Star Wars Episode III, Revenge of the Sith (Rated PG-13): This movie completes the Star Wars series and is a favorite among most fans. Full of light saber action, it is also the story of the love of a mother for her children, a husband for his wife, and the lengths they will go for that love. A definite must-see for the summer. Our score: (3.5 out of 4 stethoscopes)

Kicking and Screaming (Rated PG): Will Ferrell delivers his usual shtick comedy in this entertaining family film about a dad who tries to coach his 10 year old son's soccer team and comes head-to-head with his own father's competitive nature. While the children in the audience will be giggling, adults may be wishing they'd waited for the rental. Our score: (2 out of 4 stethoscopes)

Madagascar (Rated PG): The latest from DreamWorks Entertainment is a surefire family hit. Displaced zoo animals (Ben Stiller and Chris Rock give voice to two) discover the depths of their friendship in this refreshing animated comedy that leaves out much of the "adult" comedic references that are so common to kiddie films these days. Our score: (3 out of 4 stethoscopes)
