A Favorite LPN Applauds a Fellow Nurse, Suzette
Sonia Dume, a Favorite LPN from Tacoma, recently wrote to Favorite Staffing to
acclaim her friend and fellow nurse, Suzette, for being an inspiration
to
everyone around her. Sonia writes: "I have been an LPN for
over 11 years now, and through my many assignments all around
the world I have met some
wonderful people. What a blessing! I have worked with nurses
that have been so inspirational to me. One in
particular is my co-worker and friend Suzette. I truly admire her
for her
energy and ambition. You see, Suzette just recently became a nurse
practitioner. Our facility is so lucky to have her. She is an
excellent
ICU nurse who is a book of knowledge to us upcoming nurses. She
believes
that nothing is impossible to accomplish if you set your mind on
it. It is
so refreshing to find a veteran in our field who still loves practicing
the
art of nursing. She is caring and it shows in the way she cares
for both
her patients and peers. What makes her extraordinary?
Well, she might not wear a red cape with a big 'S' on
her chest, but
she inspires me to do more for myself career-wise. She believes
in me, and
I appreciate her. I could only wish that other nurses have someone
so dear
to them like I do. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to say
'Thanks' to her."
Heather
Arnett, LVN, Recognized for "Five Star Service"
Heather, a Favorite LVN from Dallas, was recently nominated for
an area hospital's Five Star Spirit Award. In the nomination,
the daughter of a patient wrote, "Heather was
very compassionate to my mom's needs, no matter how simple they
were. She is always on top of things and never forgets about
unanswered questions. She is sweet and soft spoken. Any unit
that could have her as a nurse is privileged, and this hospital
should be honored that she works here and takes such good care
of their patients."
